How do I automatically update sell prices in MechanicDesk?

A: MechanicDesk can automatically update sell prices whenever new stock is purchased. To enable this:

1. Go to Settings > Workshop Details > Miscellaneous.
2. Set Automatic Price Update to Yes.
3. Set Automatic Cost Update to Yes.
4. Ensure default margins are set in Settings > Workshop Details > Invoice > Price Markup Percentages.

Once these settings are enabled, sell prices will update automatically when a supplier invoice is finalised, keeping your stock costs and pricing accurate.

Note: Automatic updates only increase sell prices; they do not reduce them.
