You can disable automatic booking reminders and booking confirmations from your MechanicDesk workshop settings.
To disable for the entire workshop:
- Go to Settings > Workshop Details
- Click Workshop Information
- Untick:
- Send booking reminder
- Send booking confirmation
- Click Save
Once saved, booking reminders and confirmations will no longer be sent automatically.
To disable per customer:
When editing a customer contact, you can adjust their notification preferences individually. This allows you to stop reminders or confirmations for specific customers without affecting the entire workshop. The following options are under the customer contact when editing:
Disable Booking Reminder
Disable Service Reminder
Disable Marketing Email/SMS (Communication Campaigns)
