This guide explains the Payment Methods tab on the Workshop Details page in MechanicDesk settings.
What Are Payment Methods?
The Payment Methods tab allows you to edit and configure the payment methods used when paying for an invoice or using the POS terminal.
On this page, you can see:
- The name of the payment method
- Whether it is active in your workshop
- Whether it is enabled on the POS
Edit a Payment Method
You can click on a payment method to edit its name or disable it.
Disable a Payment Method
Checking Disabled will remove the payment method from both the invoice payment screen and the POS page.
Checking Disable on POS will only disable the payment method on the POS page.
Payment Method Names
You cannot change the name of the Cash, EFTPOS and Credit Card payment methods.
You can change the names of the other payment methods.
