If you receive an “Invalid Workshop ID, Username, or Password” message:
Confirm your Workshop ID, username, and password are correct.
Test your credentials by logging into the MechanicDesk web version here
If you need to reset your password, refer to the password reset guide here.
If your login details work successfully on the web version or if you are experiencing any other issues, perform the steps below.
Step 1: Check your connection
Ensure your device is connected to a stable Wi-Fi or mobile data network.
Step 2: Force close the app
Completely close the app, then reopen it.
Step 3: Update the app
Open the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) and install any available updates.
Step 4: Sign out and back in (if logged in)
If you are currently logged in, sign out of your account, then sign back in to refresh your session.
Step 5: Restart your device
Turn your phone or tablet off, then power it back on.
Step 6: Reinstall the app
If your credentials are confirmed correct and working on the web version:
Uninstall the app, then download and reinstall it from the iOS App Store or Google Play Store.
