MechanicDesk allows only one active session per user account at a time. If you log in using the same account from a different browser, tab, window, or device, your existing session will be logged out immediately.
How to maintain multiple active sessions
To work in multiple locations without interruption, use one of the following options.
Create a secondary user account
This is the best solution for simultaneous access in different locations.
For example:
- one user account can be logged in on a workshop computer
- another user account can be logged in on an office computer
Using separate user accounts prevents sessions from interrupting each other.
Keep accounts separate in different browser profiles or browsers
If you need to use two different accounts on the same computer, make sure each account is opened in a separate browser environment.
You can do this by:
- using different Google Chrome profiles, or
- using separate browsers, such as one account in Chrome and the other in Firefox
This helps keep each login session independent.
