Once you’re ready to create a booking, click one of the Create Booking buttons. This will take you to the booking creation screen, where you’ll begin by entering the customer’s details.
Customer Details
In this section, enter your customer’s name, contact information, and address.
Not all fields are required and can be completed later if needed.
As you type in the Name field, if a similar customer already exists, you’ll see recommendations appear on the right-hand side of the screen.
Selecting one will prefill the details automatically — ensuring all booking history stays linked to the correct customer account.
Vehicle Details
Next, enter the vehicle details.
This includes fields such as:
Registration Number
Fleet Number
Make, Model, Year
VIN
Colour
Body Type
Like the customer section, these details can also be prefilled. When selecting a customer with saved vehicles, click the Vehicle under their account to link it directly.
The fields available here may vary depending on your Service Item Attribute Settings.
Job Details
The final section contains all the details of the upcoming job.
Here you can set:
Invoice to 3rd Party
Use this if the job is billed to someone other than the customer (e.g. insurance or warranty jobs).Royalty Program
Available only if your account has a royalty integration such as RACV or RACQ.Short Description & Notes
Add a brief summary of the work or any details provided by the customer.Job Type
Select from your predefined templates — these control how job cards and invoices are prefilled.Mechanics
Assign who will be performing the job.Time Details
Enter the start time, estimated finish, and pickup time if applicable.Additional Details
Add order number, odometer reading, and mark if a Courtesy Vehicle is required.
If you tick Courtesy Vehicle, a booking window will appear showing availability for each courtesy car.
Select one to reserve it for the customer.
Tags
You can add Tags to help group and manage bookings.
Click Tags and choose from your existing list (see [Tag Management] for more information).
Saving Your Booking
Once all details are entered, choose one of the following options:
Save — Saves the booking to your Diary.
Save and Prepare — Opens the job card and invoice screens to enter more details.
Save and Start — Converts the booking directly into a job.
