MechanicDesk allows you to change the content of the booking reminder email that gets sent to customers. This can be done directly inside the Communication Templates section.

Where to Find the Template
Go to Settings
Select Workshop Details
Click Communication Templates
Choose Booking Reminder from the left menu
This will display the Booking Reminder Template on the right side of the screen.
Editing the Subject and Message
Inside the template you will see:
A Subject field
A Message field
Both fields can be edited with your own wording. Simply replace the existing text with the content you want customers to receive.
Using Variables
The page lists “Applicable Variables,” which you can insert into your message. These include:

Typing these variables (e.g., %{customer_first_name}) into your message will automatically pull the correct details into the email.
Adding Links
The page also shows two ways to add a link:
Paste a link directly (e.g.,
https://www.google.com)Use this syntax to format a hyperlink:
[[link | text | url ]]
Example:
[[link | Google | https://www.google.com]]
This will produce a clickable link labeled Google.
